Catalogue of actions accomodating beneficial organisms in the field
Create an army of pest controllers by creating optimal working environments for beneficial organisms in the field.
By Julie Marie Søby
A new catalogue focuses on specific measures that can be implemented on the farm to improve conditions for beneficial organisms. Beneficial organisms are part of the agricultural food chain and are therefore present in the agricultural landscape. They play pivotal roles in agricultural ecosystems by naturally regulating pest populations. By fostering their presence, we can establish sustainable and resilient farming practices.
Explore specific actions in our catalogue. From hedgerows to beetle banks, each measure improves conditions for beneficial organisms. This catalogue provides basic insights and guidance into creating robust ecosystems within agricultural landscapes.
